Test Manufacturing Product Engineer
Role Summary
Entry-level manufacturing product engineer supporting test and probe operations. The role interfaces with design, process, test, reliability and manufacturing engineering to troubleshoot production issues, improve yields and reduce costs, and manage new product introduction into production.
This position is part of TI's TMG Development 12-month program and includes participation in the Career Accelerator Program for technical and professional training.
Experience Level
Entry-level β suitable for fresh graduates or professionals with up to 2 years of experience. Participants join TI's Career Accelerator Program in year one.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Support daily production issues at test floor and wafer probe, including low-yield analysis and disposition, and setup failure debug/resolution (hardware and software).
- Perform detailed analytical studies and coordinate with product engineering for corrective actions (test program, hardware, setup).
- Drive productivity and yield improvement projects: yield improvement, test time reduction, test insertion/removal, legacy tester conversion.
- Support new product releases from development sites and perform buyoff for new test systems per manufacturing requirements.
- Lead introduction, qualification and change-management approval of new tools/equipment/test processes for manufacturing.

Nice-to-have:
- Familiarity with test program and test hardware concepts.
- Knowledge of wafer fabrication, device physics, circuit analysis and data analysis.
- Experience with tester conversion, test insertion/removal, and test system buyoff/qualification.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering required. Cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher preferred. Role is open to fresh graduates and early-career candidates (up to ~2 years of experience).
