Test Engineering Intern

Role Summary

Support the laboratory test engineering team responsible for verification and manufacturing test of analogue and mixed-signal semiconductor products. Work with engineers on test automation, data analysis, and development of hardware/fixtures to help move products through NPI to production.

Experience Level

Entry-level internship. Suitable for an undergraduate student on a placement year; no prior professional experience required.

Responsibilities

Typical responsibilities include:

• Participate in product development teams through the NPI cycle.
• Support ATE test activities for product verification and manufacturing.
• Automate test equipment using software tools (e.g., Python, C++, Java).
• Analyze and report product verification and manufacturing test data.
• Evaluate test equipment options and recommend solutions.
• Create tools and processes to optimize workflow.
• Develop hardware and fixture solutions; assist with PCB schematics and layout execution.

Education Requirements

Placement-year undergraduate student currently enrolled in an engineering or related technical degree program (for example, electrical, computer, or similar technical disciplines).
