Test Engineer Intern (Bachelor's Degree)
Role Summary
Internship within Marvell Asia Pte Ltd Test Engineering in Singapore supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) and High Volume Manufacturing (HVM) across Marvell product lines. The role focuses on basic ATE test program development, product characterization, and generation/automation of yield and failure reports.
Experience Level
Entry-level internship for undergraduate candidates; suitable for students currently pursuing a bachelor's degree.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include development, data analysis, and reporting related to ATE and product yield.
- Learn and implement basic ATE test program structure and flow.
- Understand production flow for processor products and basic fault/test coverage/yield models.
- Generate yield and failure pareto reports for new products.
- Develop scripts (Perl, Python) to parse and analyze raw test data.
- Perform product characterization and produce standard characterization reports.
- Automate generation of weekly yield reports and standard end-to-end yield reporting formats.
Requirements
Minimum technical skills and experience expected for the internship.
- Strong programming skills in C/C++ within a Unix-like environment.
- Proficiency with scripting in Perl and Python for data parsing and automation.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem-solving ability and attention to detail when analyzing test data and yields.
- Experience with ATE test platforms is a strong plus (preferred, not mandatory).
Education Requirements
Undergraduate pursuing a BS degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field. Coursework or familiarity with basic electrical circuits theory and programming (C/C++) is expected.
