Test Engineer, HSAMPS

Role Summary

Responsible for developing and executing production and characterization tests for high-speed analog integrated devices. Collaborate with design and production teams to create ATE programs and hardware, debug silicon on ATE, analyze yield and performance, and support failure analysis and product release.

Experience Level

Mid-level - posting requires approximately 3 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with design teams to interpret specifications and define test requirements.
• Create test plans, develop ATE test and characterization programs, and design ATE hardware interface boards.
• Debug and characterize silicon on ATE; correlate ATE results with bench measurements.
• Analyze silicon results and support failure analysis and design validation.
• Perform statistical yield analysis, diagnose yield fallout, and implement fixes to improve yield and reduce test time.
• Develop and maintain ATE hardware and software; support qualification hardware development.
• Work with production teams to release products to volume production and support offshore test offload as needed.
• Drive robust, cost-effective test solutions and ensure product quality.

Requirements

Must-have skills and experience:

• Approximately 3 years of relevant industry experience in test engineering.
• ATE experience on Teradyne Eagle, Advantest Exascale, or equivalent analog ATE (iFlex, LTX, VLCT); Eagle/Exascale preferred.
• Characterization and production test program and hardware development experience.
• Strong knowledge of electronic devices, circuits, and analog test techniques.
• Data analysis experience using Spotfire, dataPower, or equivalent tools based on STDF.
• Hands-on experience with lab equipment: oscilloscopes, power supplies, source meters, loads, etc.
• Experience with yield improvement, test time optimization, and the IC product development lifecycle.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience with mixed-signal test techniques and developing tests on roadmap testers.
• Experience offloading test programs and hardware to offshore manufacturing sites.
• Proficiency in programming/scripting (C++, Java, Python, C#) and revision control (Git).
• Proficiency in statistical analysis of test data and strong analytical/problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and time-management skills; ability to drive results in a fast-paced environment.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required (Degree Level: Bachelor's Degree).
