Role Summary
Join the semiconductor test team at Nexperia's Seremban site to develop and validate ATE test solutions for analog and mixed-signal ICs. The role focuses on test strategy, ATE hardware and software, device characterization, and cross-functional collaboration to support silicon qualification.
Experience Level
Entry-level. Suitable for fresh graduates or candidates with 0–3 years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include designing and validating test solutions, executing tests, and analyzing silicon results.
- Create semiconductor IC test strategies covering platform, hardware, software, and instrumentation.
- Design ATE hardware interface PCBs and develop test programs for IC testing and characterization.
- Debug and bring up ATE test solutions and perform bench correlation for analog/mixed-signal ICs.
- Execute parametric tests on ATE with a strong defect-screening focus.
- Diagnose device and setup issues and drive them to closure independently.
- Analyze silicon results, perform statistical analysis, identify root causes for yield fall-outs, and support failure analysis activities.
- Support silicon qualification activities, including qualification hardware development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure device success.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience.
- 0–3 years of experience in semiconductor IC testing on ATE.
- Experience in ATE hardware PCB design.
- Familiarity with test and measurement equipment.
- Hands-on ATE experience on analog testers such as Teradyne ETS-88, ETS-364, or equivalent.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a defect-screening mindset.
- Ability to analyze data and support failure analysis and qualification activities.
Education Requirements
Master's or Ph.D. degree in Electronic Engineering or a related field (e.g., Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Physics, or other technical disciplines).
