Role Summary

Develop and validate automatic test equipment (ATE) programs and test hardware for mixed-signal DAC/ADC devices. Work with design and production teams to characterize silicon, debug failures, optimize test flow, and release products to volume production.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with design engineers to understand device specifications and test requirements.
• Generate test plans and develop characterization and production test programs.
• Design ATE hardware interface boards and related test hardware.
• Debug silicon on ATE and correlate results with bench measurements.
• Analyze silicon data, support failure analysis, and perform statistical yield analysis.
• Identify and implement yield improvements and test-time reduction measures.
• Work with production to release products to volume manufacturing.
• Define and implement test strategy for DAC/ADC products and qualification testing.
• Support silicon qualification, characterization, and comprehensive device validation.
• Drive robust, cost-effective test solutions and ensure product quality.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience:

• ATE experience on Teradyne Eagle 364 or equivalent platforms (ETS 88, Smart Scale, EXA Scale).
• Characterization and production test program and hardware development experience.
• Strong knowledge of electronic devices and analog test techniques.
• Data analysis experience using Spotfire, dataPower, or equivalent tools that work with STDF.
• Hands-on experience with lab equipment: oscilloscopes, power supplies, source meters, loads, etc.
• Experience with product engineering activities such as yield improvement and test time optimization.
• Strong understanding of the IC product development process from concept to volume production.

Nice-to-have:

• Mixed-signal test techniques and experience with TI roadmap testers.
• Experience offloading test programs and hardware to offshore manufacturing sites.
• Programming/scripting in C or C++.
• Revision control experience: Subversion, Git.
• Strong analytical, communication, teamwork, and time-management skills.

Education Requirements
