Role Summary

The Test Engineer will optimize and control wafer-test processes to improve product quality, yield, efficiency, and cycle time in high-volume production at Fab 10N/X in Singapore. The role partners with operations, equipment, and product teams to qualify changes, resolve deviations, and implement continuous improvements.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include process control, continuous improvement, and enabling data-driven decisions in test operations.

• Optimize test processes, tools, and systems to improve product quality and operational efficiency.
• Drive improvements to test yield and resolve process/product deviations.
• Characterize processes, implement controls, and lead root-cause problem resolution.
• Qualify new test processes and equipment; integrate new products into production.
• Identify opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, cycle time, delivery, and cost.
• Lead or participate in projects to realize improvement opportunities through engineering solutions.
• Design and develop business-intelligence reporting and dashboards for data visualization and decision support.
• Integrate AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness while complying with standards and legal requirements.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement by testing and sharing AI-enabled and process enhancements.

Requirements

• Must-have: Strong analytical, logical, and critical-thinking skills; effective written and verbal communication across levels.
• Must-have: Ability to diagnose and resolve process deviations, implement effective controls, and drive measurable improvements.
• Must-have: Baseline digital fluency and role-appropriate AI literacy to use AI-enabled tools responsibly and effectively.
• Must-have: Experience with process characterization, optimization, and project execution in a manufacturing or test environment.
• Nice-to-have: Internship or prior experience in the semiconductor industry.
• Nice-to-have: Demonstrated leadership and a track record of measurable impact on operations or product quality.
• Nice-to-have: Experience designing dashboards, BI reporting, or data-visualization tools for operational metrics.
• Nice-to-have: Interest in and knowledge of the semiconductor industry and Micron's products.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or another electronics-related field is specified.
