Works with cross-functional teams and vendors to deploy and maintain test stations, validate equipment, and analyze manufacturing data.
Experience Level
Mid-level β typically requires 5+ years of relevant experience in semiconductor or electronics manufacturing.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities focus on supporting SLT activities from NPI to high-volume production and improving test infrastructure and processes.
- Support SLT NPI activities and production floor operations from product bring-up through mass production.
- Develop and improve automated test systems and thermal solutions for system-level testing.
- Perform test station setup, hardware configuration, qualification, and maintenance for NPI and production.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors on design, development, and validation of test equipment.
- Plan and execute Design of Experiments (DOE) to identify root causes and resolve production issues.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret manufacturing and test data to drive yield and productivity improvements.
- Provide frontline engineering support and troubleshoot test-related hardware and software issues in real time.
- Develop and maintain test programs and tools for system-level and chip-level debugging, validation, and failure analysis.
- Apply AI and automation tools to improve testing efficiency, data analysis, and workflow automation.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and background for immediate contribution.
- 5+ years of experience in the semiconductor or electronics manufacturing industry.
- Demonstrated experience with System-Level Test (SLT), New Product Introduction (NPI), or production test operations.
- Proficiency in Linux shell scripting, Python, and SQL; experience using AI tools for automation and data analysis.
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills across hardware, software, and manufacturing test environments.
- Experience with test hardware and software development, and ATC thermal solutions preferred.
