Role Summary

Engineering role supporting System-Level Test (SLT) for production and new-product bring-up within manufacturing operations. The role works on automated test systems, thermal solutions, and front-line troubleshooting to improve yield and production efficiency.

Works with cross-functional teams and vendors to deploy and maintain test stations, validate equipment, and analyze manufacturing data.

Experience Level

Mid-level β€” typically requires 5+ years of relevant experience in semiconductor or electronics manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities focus on supporting SLT activities from NPI to high-volume production and improving test infrastructure and processes.

  • Support SLT NPI activities and production floor operations from product bring-up through mass production.
  • Develop and improve automated test systems and thermal solutions for system-level testing.
  • Perform test station setup, hardware configuration, qualification, and maintenance for NPI and production.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors on design, development, and validation of test equipment.
  • Plan and execute Design of Experiments (DOE) to identify root causes and resolve production issues.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret manufacturing and test data to drive yield and productivity improvements.
  • Provide frontline engineering support and troubleshoot test-related hardware and software issues in real time.
  • Develop and maintain test programs and tools for system-level and chip-level debugging, validation, and failure analysis.
  • Apply AI and automation tools to improve testing efficiency, data analysis, and workflow automation.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and background for immediate contribution.

  • 5+ years of experience in the semiconductor or electronics manufacturing industry.
  • Demonstrated experience with System-Level Test (SLT), New Product Introduction (NPI), or production test operations.
  • Proficiency in Linux shell scripting, Python, and SQL; experience using AI tools for automation and data analysis.
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills across hardware, software, and manufacturing test environments.
  • Experience with test hardware and software development, and ATC thermal solutions preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; able to work in cross-functional teams and under production pressure.

Nice-to-have:

  • Hands-on experience with Allegro or similar schematic capture / PCB design tools.
  • Hands-on experience with Creo or similar mechanical CAD for drawings and fixture design.
  • Solid hardware and software development and debug skills specific to manufacturing environments.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. (The posting permits related technical fields; equivalent practical experience is commonly considered.)
