Job Title

Test Engineer, ATE RF

Role Summary

The Test Engineer will develop automated production test solutions for RF transceivers and mixed-signal devices, supporting new-product introduction (NPI) and high-volume manufacturing. The role partners with design, qualification, and manufacturing teams to define RF test strategies, validate silicon, and drive yield and quality improvements.

Responsibilities

Core responsibilities include ATE test development, validation, debugging, and process improvement across NPI and production.

  • Develop ATE test programs and integrate test functions to support silicon bring-up during NPI.
  • Define RF test strategies, test plans, and procedures from product specifications in collaboration with design and qualification teams.
  • Perform characterization and validation on ATE across PVT and communicate results and analysis to cross-functional teams.
  • Use ATE tools and lab instruments (oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, VNA, logic analyzer) to debug issues.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts to increase yield and product quality during and after NPI.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and preferred experience.

  • Experience developing automated ATE test programs and production test solutions.
  • Familiarity with ATE systems such as Teradyne or 93K and integration of external instruments.
  • Knowledge of analog circuits and RF is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; capable of instrument- and system-level debugging.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and work independently on test development.

Education Requirements
