Role Summary

Develop and validate probe and final test solutions for highly integrated multi-rail power-management ICs. Work with design, characterization, and production teams to create test plans, develop ATE programs and hardware, qualify silicon, and resolve yield and test-time issues.

Primary focus is ATE test development, silicon characterization, failure analysis, and transferring products to volume production.

Responsibilities

The role owns test development and qualification activities across characterization and production.

• Collaborate with design teams to interpret specifications and define test requirements.
• Create test plans and develop characterization and production test programs.
• Design ATE hardware interface boards and qual hardware for silicon testing.
• Debug silicon on ATE and correlate ATE results with bench measurements.
• Analyze silicon data, support failure analysis, and drive device debug and design validation.
• Perform statistical analysis of yield fallout; identify and implement yield and test-time improvements.
• Work with production to release products to volume and implement robust, cost-effective test solutions.
• Define and implement test strategy for new LDO products and other roadmap items.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills, tools, and experience.

• 2+ years of relevant industry experience in test/characterization.
• ATE experience on Teradyne Eagle or equivalent analog ATE (iFlex, LTX, VLCT); Eagle experience preferred.
• Experience developing characterization and production test programs and associated hardware.
• Strong knowledge of electronic devices, circuits, and analog test techniques.
• Data analysis experience using Spotfire, dataPower, or equivalent STDF-based tools.
• Hands-on experience with lab equipment: oscilloscopes, power supplies, sourcemeters, loads, etc.
• Experience with product engineering activities such as yield improvement and test-time reduction.
• Solid understanding of the IC product development process from concept through volume production.

Nice-to-have:

• Mixed-signal test technique experience and development on TI roadmap testers.
• Experience offloading test programs and hardware to offshore manufacturing sites.
• Programming/scripting in C++, Python, or C#; revision control (Subversion, Git).
• Strong analytical, communication, teamwork, and time-management skills; ability to drive results.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (required as stated in the posting).
