Role Summary

Responsible for developing and implementing probe and final-test solutions for highly integrated multi-rail power-management ICs. Work closely with design and production teams to characterize silicon, build ATE test programs and hardware, and transition devices to volume production.

Responsibilities

The role focuses on test development, characterization, yield improvement, and production release for DC-DC converter and mixed-signal products.

• Collaborate with design engineers to understand device specifications and define test requirements.
• Create test plans and develop characterization and production test programs.
• Design ATE hardware interface boards and qualification hardware.
• Debug silicon on ATE and correlate results with bench measurements.
• Perform device characterization, qualification, design validation, and failure analysis support.
• Analyze yield fallout, debug yield issues, and implement test-time and yield optimizations.
• Define and implement test strategies for new DC-DC converter products.
• Work with production teams and offshore manufacturing sites to release products to volume production.
• Deliver robust, cost-effective test solutions while ensuring product quality.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience required to perform the role. Preferred items are listed separately.

• ATE experience on Teradyne Eagle or equivalent analog ATE (iFlex, LTX, VLCT); Eagle experience preferred.
• Characterization and production test program and hardware development experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of electronic devices, circuits, and analog test techniques.
• Data analysis experience using Spotfire, dataPower, or equivalent STDF-based tools.
• Hands-on experience with lab equipment: oscilloscopes, power supplies, sourcemeters, electronic loads, etc.
• Experience with product engineering activities such as yield improvement and test-time reduction.
• Strong understanding of the IC product development process from concept to volume production.

Nice-to-have / preferred:

• Mixed-signal test techniques and experience developing tests on TI roadmap testers.
• Experience offloading test programs and hardware to offshore manufacturing sites.
• Programming or scripting proficiency: C++, Python, C#; LabVIEW and TestStand experience.
• Familiarity with revision control tools (Subversion, Git).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams, manage time, and deliver projects on schedule.

Education Requirements
