Test Engineer
Role Summary
Develop and validate automated test solutions for highly integrated multi-rail power-management devices. The role works with design and production teams to create ATE test programs and hardware, characterize silicon, debug failures, and release products to volume production.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include test development, silicon characterization, and production release support.
- Collaborate with design team to understand device specifications and test requirements.
- Create test plans and develop characterization and production test programs and ATE hardware interface boards.
- Debug characterization silicon on ATE and correlate results with bench measurements.
- Analyze silicon results and support failure analysis and design validation tasks.
- Perform statistical analysis of yield fallout; debug yield issues and optimize test time.
- Work with production teams to release products to volume production and support ongoing manufacturing.
- Define and implement test strategy for new DCDC converter products.
- Drive robust, cost-effective test solutions while ensuring product quality.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience.
- ATE experience on Teradyne Eagle or equivalent analog ATE (iFlex, LTX, VLCT); Eagle experience preferred.
- Characterization and production test program and hardware development experience.
- Strong technical knowledge of electronic devices and circuits and analog test techniques.
- Data analysis skills using Spotfire, dataPower or equivalent STDF-based tools.
- Experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, sourcemeters, and electronic loads.
- Experience with product engineering activities such as yield improvement and test-time reduction.
- Strong understanding of the IC product development process from concept to volume production.
Nice-to-have / preferred skills.
- Mixed-signal test techniques and experience developing mixed-signal tests on TI roadmap testers.
- Experience offloading test programs and hardware to offshore manufacturing sites.
- Programming/scripting proficiency in C++, Python, or C#; LabVIEW and TestStand experience.
- Revision control experience (Subversion, Git).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, communication, teamwork, and time management.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Degree Level: Bachelor's Degree). No mention of equivalent experience or other degree levels in the posting.
