Job Title

Test Engineer

Role Summary

Work on characterization, qualification, and production test of mid-voltage DC-DC converter power products. The role partners with design, validation, systems and production teams to develop test plans, ATE programs, and test hardware to ensure product quality and manufacturability.

Experience Level

Mid-level β€” typically 5+ years relevant experience; 8+ years preferred.

Responsibilities

Primary hands-on test engineering tasks and cross-functional activities.

  • Create test plans and develop characterization and production test programs and hardware.
  • Design ATE hardware interfaces and qualification hardware; develop char and production test programs.
  • Debug and characterize silicon on ATE and bench; correlate ATE and bench results.
  • Analyze silicon data, support failure analysis, and perform statistical analysis of yield fallout.
  • Work with production teams to release products to volume; optimize test time and cost.
  • Define and implement test strategy for new DC-DC converter products, focusing on robustness and cost-effectiveness.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience; preferred items listed under "Nice-to-have." Education requirements are listed separately below.

  • 5+ years of relevant test engineering experience (8+ preferred).
  • ATE experience on Teradyne Eagle or equivalent analog ATE (iFlex, LTX, VLCT); Eagle is a differentiator.
  • Characterization and production test program and hardware development experience.
  • Strong technical knowledge of electronic devices, circuits, and analog test techniques.
  • Data analysis using Spotfire, dataPower or equivalent tools that consume STDF data.
  • Experience with lab equipment: oscilloscopes, power supplies, sourcemeters, electronic loads, etc.
  • Experience with yield improvement, test time reduction, and the IC product development lifecycle.
  • Nice-to-have: mixed-signal test techniques for power products, offshore test offload experience, programming/scripting (Python, C++, C#), and revision-control tool experience.
  • Nice-to-have: strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills; ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment.
