Test Engineer
Role Summary
Responsible for defining test strategy and testability for new product introductions (NPI) of DC-DC converters, e-fuses, ideal diodes and load switches. Work as part of the Test Engineering team in Dallas to develop ATE programs and hardware, release test solutions to production, and support volume ramp-up.
Experience Level
Mid-level. The role expects approximately 3+ years of relevant ATE program and hardware development experience.
Responsibilities
The Test Engineer will develop test solutions, drive yield and quality improvements, and support production release and ramp.
- Define product test strategy and testability for new products.
- Develop ATE test programs and test hardware; apply basic circuit design knowledge.
- Ensure quality of test programs and optimize test yield.
- Introduce and release testing to production sites and support volume ramp-up.
- Archive test data, test plans, and related documentation.
- Initiate and participate in peer and gate reviews for Test Engineering deliverables.
- Drive test efficiency, product quality improvements, and cost-down initiatives.
- Perform test risk assessments (Test-FMEA) and provide test cost estimates.
- Execute tasks to schedule, troubleshoot issues, and escalate technical or planning risks when required.
- Build competence in DFT methods, statistics, semiconductor processes, yield/data analysis tools, and participate in 8D problem-solving teams.

- Must-have: 3+ years of ATE program and hardware development experience.
- Must-have: Familiarity with C++.
- Must-have: Basic circuit design background and experience applying it to test hardware.
- Nice-to-have: Development experience with analog ICs.
- Analytical mindset with attention to improvement opportunities and data-driven yield analysis.
- Customer orientation and quality-focused approach.
- Self-driven, takes ownership, and demonstrates initiative.
- Effective communication skills in English.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (e.g., Computer Engineering, Electronics) is specified.
