Role Summary

The Test Engineer implements, qualifies, optimizes and supports In-Circuit Test (ICT) solutions for PCBA manufacturing, focusing on Keysight 3070 platforms, fixture development and test program implementation. The role partners closely with manufacturing, NPI, customers and external vendors to ensure robust, cost-effective test coverage throughout product lifecycles.

Work is based at the Guadalajara North Campus and emphasizes hands-on troubleshooting, test coverage analysis, and continuous improvement of test processes.

Experience Level

Mid-level. Prior experience as a Test Engineer or in a similar test/validation role is required; specific years of experience were not stated.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include developing and maintaining ICT test solutions, supporting production and NPI, and collaborating with suppliers and customers.

• Develop, implement, validate and maintain ICT test solutions for PCBA manufacturing.
• Support and optimize Keysight 3070 ICT platforms and related software.
• Design and coordinate procurement of ICT test fixtures with external suppliers.
• Troubleshoot and debug ICT hardware, software and test coverage issues; perform root-cause analysis.
• Implement and validate boundary-scan and digital test strategies.
• Perform DFT evaluations and test coverage analysis to improve manufacturability and yield.
• Provide technical support during NPI launches and product transfers to manufacturing.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, test procedures and specifications.
• Train technicians and manufacturing personnel on test processes and troubleshooting techniques.
• Evaluate new technologies and identify continuous improvement opportunities in test engineering.

• Must-have: Strong hands-on experience with Keysight 3070 and ICT test implementation.

• Must-have: Familiarity with PCB/PCBA manufacturing processes and test coverage analysis.

• Must-have: Ability to collaborate with customers, vendors and cross-functional manufacturing teams.

Education Requirements

BA/BS in Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field is required.
