Test Development Engineer
Role Summary
Be the key project owner for NOR Flash memory test programs, ensuring test program development, release readiness, and program quality for new product introduction and mass production. Coordinate with engineering and production teams to optimize test flow, reduce test time, and support manufacturing stability.

Responsibilities
Primary duties focus on developing and releasing production-ready test programs, supporting manufacturing, and driving continuous improvement.
- Design and implement test plans covering hardware requirements, defect coverage, characterization, process flow, and test time.
- Develop and maintain package functional test strategies and programs for NOR Flash products; ensure programs are fully checked out prior to production release.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and production groups to ensure NPI and mass-manufacturing readiness.
- Optimize production test flow and reduce test time through software, equipment, and process changes.
- Generate supporting data, monitor process and engineering metrics, and analyze results to ensure stability and yield improvement.
- Support process or assembly excursions by identifying issues, containing impact, and implementing corrective/preventive actions.
- Communicate technical findings effectively to internal and external stakeholders.
- Integrate AI-assisted tools where appropriate and contribute AI-enabled process improvements within scope of work.

Must-have: Experience in test engineering and semiconductor manufacturing; ability to write and debug test programs; strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice-to-have: Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments and scripting/programming (C, C++, Perl, Python, tester languages); understanding of semiconductor device physics; automated test equipment knowledge/experience; baseline digital fluency and role-appropriate AI literacy.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related engineering field.
