Role Summary

Responsible for developing and maintaining reliability and characterization test programs for NAND products within Micron's test development team in Penang. The role focuses on test-method development, program support for failure validation, and collaboration with reliability and operations teams.

Work includes board and software contributions to ensure robust test flows and successful execution on live products.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include developing test methodologies and supporting test execution and validation:

• Develop reliability stress and testing approaches for NAND products.
• Build and maintain NAND product reliability and characterization test programs.
• Collaborate with product reliability engineers to define reliability test flows.
• Support operations to ensure correct execution of test flows on live products.
• Provide test program support for failure validation and characterization.
• Contribute to burn-in board assembly and related software development.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and personal attributes:

• Experience with Automated Test Equipment for reliability testing.
• Understanding of NAND flash memory reliability failure mechanisms and testing methodologies.
• Practical programming skills in C++ and Python; strong Object-Oriented Programming knowledge.
• Analytical problem-solving skills and a structured approach to development.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; self-motivated and positive attitude toward learning.
• Nice-to-have: experience using AI tools to improve test program development.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (preferred fields: Microelectronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering). No mention of equivalent practical-experience alternatives.
