Role Summary

The Test Development Engineer at Monolithic Power Systems is responsible for new product development involving ATE test solution development, test program coding, debugging, and production release.

Experience Level

Mid-level: Requires a Master's degree and relevant engineering experience.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Designing component-level circuits for precision parametric measurement and creating automated test software for analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits.
  • Participating in all phases of product development including design for testability, test hardware/software design, and production release.
  • Applying test engineering concepts to complex assignments.

Requirements

Qualified candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • MS in Electrical Engineering or similar fields.
  • Experience in power IC function testing and automatic testing flow.
  • Experience with Cadence PCB layout.
  • Knowledge of power management IC function/application is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills in English and Chinese.
  • Ability to work with IC developers globally and willingness to travel in China and worldwide subcontractors.

Education Requirements

Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required.
