Role Summary
The Staff Analog Engineer will focus on the design and optimization of analog blocks and systems, supporting the transition from high-level analysis through detailed design and production.
Experience Level
Mid-level, with at least 3 years of experience in analog CMOS integrated circuit design.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the Staff Analog Engineer include:
- Analog block or analog system design, including specification definition, high-level analysis, detailed design, and production support (40%).
- Design & optimization, verification, technical documentation, and layout supervision (20%).
- Silicon lab evaluation, characterization, and debug (10%).
- Block or system modeling (10%).
- Providing technical support to test, product, and application engineers (10%).
- Interface with digital, firmware, verification, layout, and cross-functional teams (10%).
Requirements
The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:
- M.S. in Electrical Engineering or higher.
- 3+ years of experience in analog CMOS integrated circuit design.
- Strong analytical, synthesis, and problem-solving skills.
- Solid experience in designing transistor-level CMOS analog blocks.
- Knowledge of IC design CAD tools, including schematic entry and simulation tools.
- Experience with lab instruments and measurement methods.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Education Requirements
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or higher is required.
