Job Title
Technology Enablement Engineer (Tessent)
Role Summary
Responsible for enabling customer adoption of DFT (Design for Test) solutions by collaborating with application engineers, customers, and internal stakeholders to develop, enhance, and support complex CAE design and manufacturing processes.
The role produces technical deliverables (presentations, training materials, white papers), provides guidance on DFT environments and architectures, and resolves complex technical issues independently.
Experience Level
Senior — approximately 10 years of experience in Design for Test preferred.
Responsibilities
Core responsibilities include technical enablement, customer engagement, and knowledge transfer.
- Collaborate with customers, regional application engineers, global support, and marketing to drive product adoption and resolve customer issues.
- Develop and enhance DFT processes, methodologies, and architectures for SoC environments.
- Create and deliver in-depth technical presentations, training materials, white papers, articles, and application notes.
- Investigate and solve complex technical problems; design and propose new methodologies and solutions.
- Explain complex DFT principles clearly to varied audiences, both written and verbally.
- Occasional domestic and international travel to support customers and projects.
Requirements
Must-have and desirable technical skills and experience (education is listed separately below).
- Strong knowledge of SoC DFT methodologies including scan-based testing, ATPG, Memory BIST, Logic BIST, and Boundary Scan.
- Familiarity with DFT infrastructure such as silicon diagnosis and scan data compression methodologies; ATPG flow knowledge is desired.
- Experience with VLSI/ASIC design, simulation, verification, and product test.
- Experience with CAD tools for synthesis, simulation, ATPG, Memory BIST, Logic BIST, and Boundary Scan.
- Proficient with UNIX/Linux operating systems.
- Programming and scripting experience: Verilog (RTL/gate), VHDL, TCL, Perl, C/C++.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to decompose complex problems.
- Excellent interpersonal, customer-facing, and English verbal/written communication skills.
Education Requirements
