Technology Architect – Silicon Spin Quantum Platforms
Role Summary
Senior technical leader within GF Labs and Quantum Technology Solutions responsible for defining and industrializing foundry-compatible platforms for electron-spin, nuclear-spin, and coupled electron-nuclear-spin quantum devices.
The role translates customer architectures into manufacturable 300 mm process flows, test vehicles, design rules, materials specifications, integration schemes, and technology roadmaps across qubit devices, cryogenic control, superconducting interconnect, and advanced packaging. Leads technology transfers, new-product introductions, and scaling to repeatable manufacturing.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities focus on architecture-to-fab translation, customer technology transfer, and enabling manufacturable quantum device platforms.
- Define and industrialize foundry-compatible platforms for silicon spin and related quantum devices.
- Convert customer architectures into manufacturable 300 mm process flows, design rules, materials specs, and integration schemes.
- Own architecture-to-fab translation and lead customer technology transfers and new-product introductions (NPI).
- Drive yield and variability learning; guide programs from test structures through qualified manufacturing.
- Coordinate across qubit devices, cryogenic control systems, superconducting interconnects, and advanced packaging.
- Work directly with customer engineering teams across silicon spin, donor/nuclear-spin, neutral-atom enabling hardware, and adjacent quantum systems.

- Must-have: Extensive experience in semiconductor process development, process integration, or foundry manufacturing with demonstrated technical leadership.
- Must-have: Proven ability to translate device architectures into manufacturable 300 mm process flows, design rules, and materials specifications.
- Must-have: Experience leading customer technology transfers, NPIs, and scaling test vehicles to repeatable production.
- Must-have: Familiarity with qubit devices, cryogenic control, superconducting interconnects, and advanced packaging concepts relevant to quantum hardware.
- Nice-to-have: Experience with donor/nuclear-spin, neutral-atom enabling hardware, NMR, or other adjacent quantum systems.
- Nice-to-have: Track record driving yield improvement and managing variability in advanced process nodes.
