Job Title

Technical Program Manager, Product Software

Role Summary

Lead end-to-end software development for Tenstorrent's next-generation chiplet-based system-in-package (SiP), spanning architecture, pre-silicon, tape-out, silicon debug, and software productization across AI, CPU, memory, and I/O chiplet domains.

Work cross-functionally with silicon, firmware, runtime, and vendor teams to define roadmaps, de-risk bring-up through shift-left strategies, and deliver scalable CI/CD and testing frameworks. This is a hybrid role based out of Santa Clara, CA (primary), Austin, TX, or Toronto, ON.

Experience Level

Senior-level. Prefer candidates with 10+ years in technical program management or chip-level engineering and at least 2+ years working on multi-chip/chiplet systems.

Responsibilities

Manage complex software programs that span pre-silicon and post-silicon stages and coordinate across internal teams and external vendors.

  • Define and manage multi-year software roadmaps for chiplet integration and system software.
  • Create work breakdown structures, define success metrics, track progress, and manage program risks.
  • Implement and own shift-left strategies to accelerate bring-up and reduce silicon debug cycles.
  • Coordinate vendor integrations (PCIe, D2D, Ethernet) and manage third-party relationships and deliverables.
  • Establish CI/CD, automated testing, and validation pipelines for firmware, runtime, and higher-level stacks.
  • Communicate program status, tradeoffs, and decisions clearly with executives, engineering teams, and stakeholders.
  • Drive alignment across architecture, firmware, runtime, and system teams to meet delivery milestones.

Requirements

Must-have technical program management and silicon/software integration experience.

  • 10+ years in technical program management or chip-level engineering; 2+ years with multi-chip/chiplet systems.
  • Deep familiarity with heterogeneous compute architectures (AI, CPU, memory, networking) and pre-/post-silicon software phases.
  • Proven ability to manage large engineering programs (40+ engineers) and coordinate cross-functional teams.
  • Experience managing vendor software integrations and working with external IP/providers.
  • Strong understanding of hardware-software codesign at chiplet, package, and system levels.
  • Practical experience with program management tools and workflows (JIRA, Confluence) and strong decision-making in fast-paced environments.
  • Experience setting up CI/CD and testing frameworks for firmware and software stacks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with technical and executive audiences.

Education Requirements

Not specified.
