Job Title

Technical Program Manager FinFET

Role Summary

Join the FinFET Product Development team at GLOBALFOUNDRIES' Fab 8 in Malta, NY. Lead and coordinate advanced semiconductor technology programs to convert research into production-ready process features and ensure successful ramp to high-volume manufacturing.

Experience Level

Mid-level. Requires 3+ years of relevant semiconductor industry experience.

Responsibilities

Manage program execution, schedules, resources, and cross-functional coordination to deliver technology development milestones.

  • Plan and manage execution of complex semiconductor engineering development programs.
  • Own overall program schedule, resource planning, and milestone coordination.
  • Ensure smooth transition from development into high-volume production and drive manufacturability.
  • Lead cross-functional teams; define tasks and work packages to meet quality and timing targets.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, PDK, Modeling, and IP teams.
  • Communicate technical status, risks, and deliverables to technical and executive stakeholders and customers.
  • Perform activities in compliance with Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills, tools, and behaviors.

  • Strong knowledge of CMOS process integration and techniques such as CVD, lithography, and RIE.
  • Understanding of test chip design, transfer of ownership, design rules, and technology-design interactions.
  • Solid foundation in statistics and data analysis techniques/tools.
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project and Jira.
  • Excellent English communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.

Preferred (nice-to-have):

  • Experience in semiconductor volume manufacturing and statistical methods.
  • Familiarity with FMEA/8D methodology and customer interaction.
  • Experience working in multicultural team environments.

Education Requirements

M.Sc. in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or a related technical field is required; a PhD is an advantage.
