Technical Program Manager

Role Summary

The Technical Program Manager (TPM) will plan and manage execution of processor core IP development programs from engineering scoping through product release within the Program Management Office (PMO).

The TPM works with cross-functional engineering teams and product stakeholders to produce schedules, allocate resources, identify risks, and drive on-time, high-quality delivery. Role requires authorization to work in Taiwan and may require export-control clearance.

Responsibilities

Lead technical program planning, execution, tracking, and cross-team coordination for CPU IP and related software/tool development.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders and technical leads to create schedules, resource plans, and program plans to meet goals.
  • Build and maintain execution plans; monitor progress, identify critical paths, risks, and issues across planning, execution, delivery, and support phases.
  • Coordinate cross-functional activities, track dependencies, and drive teams to meet schedules and milestones.
  • Participate in technical discussions and help resolve high-level project issues.
  • Lead issue reporting and resolution; ensure consistent program status communication and reporting.
  • Contribute to improving project, program management, and product lifecycle processes.

Requirements

Must-have technical program management skills and tools familiarity. Education requirements are listed in the Education Requirements section below and have been removed from this list.

  • Experience with CPU technology and associated software and tools development.
  • Ability to facilitate technical discussions and drive engineering decisions.
  • Proficiency with Git/GitHub, JIRA, and Confluence.
  • Strong organization, communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Familiarity with project and program management tools and processes is a strong plus.

Education Requirements

BS or MS in Electrical Engineering (EE), Computer Engineering (CE), Computer Science (CS) or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
