Technical Product Manager - Questa
Role Summary
Lead product strategy and execution for Questa, Siemens' simulation and verification platform. Work with R&D, customers, sales, and marketing to define product vision across Verification Management, Digital Thread, Cloud, and AI capabilities.
Translate customer needs and market trends into prioritized requirements, roadmaps, and measurable outcomes to support verification of complex SoCs and FPGAs.
Experience Level
Senior — typically 8–10 years of product management experience, preferably in EDA, semiconductor, or enterprise software.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Own product vision and roadmap for Verification Management: verification planning, coverage management, regression analytics, and metrics-driven closure.
- Drive Digital Thread strategy to enable traceability and data continuity across design and verification workflows.
- Lead initiatives for cloud-native verification environments and scalable deployment models.
- Define and contribute to AI-powered capabilities to automate and improve verification workflows.
- Collaborate with R&D, sales, marketing, and customer success to gather feedback, validate direction, and align priorities.
- Create clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria; prioritize backlog and releases.
- Define KPIs and success metrics for product initiatives and iterate based on data and customer feedback.
- Build relationships with key accounts and industry stakeholders to collect real-world insights and validate product approaches.
Requirements
Must-have and preferred qualifications:

Must-have: 8–10 years of product management experience, ideally within EDA, semiconductor, or enterprise software.

Must-have: Strong understanding of functional verification methodologies (simulation, formal verification, coverage-driven verification).

Must-have: Experience driving cloud or SaaS product initiatives from concept to market.

Must-have: Familiarity with verification management concepts such as coverage closure, regression management, and metrics-driven verification planning.

Must-have: Experience with Agile/Scrum and product lifecycle management; strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred: Understanding of digital thread and data continuity across engineering workflows.

Preferred: Exposure to Questa, SystemVerilog, Verilog, or VHDL.
