Role Summary

The Technical Marketing Engineer (TME) will support market adoption and customer success for MPS voltage regulator products by becoming a product expert and translating silicon capabilities into practical customer solutions.

This role works cross-functionally with IC designers, hardware developers, and applications engineering to define product features, build evaluation hardware, produce datasheets and application notes, and support customers on schematic and PCB layout integration. The position is remote with a preference for candidates in Finland or Sweden.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Research market requirements and engage with customers to identify unmet technical needs and trends; translate findings into feature definitions for next-generation products.
  • Collaborate with chip designers and internal engineering teams to align customer-facing features with silicon architecture.
  • Design, test, and deliver Evaluation Boards (EVBs) and Evaluation Kits (EVKs) to help customers benchmark silicon.
  • Draft, review, and update product datasheets, application notes, and layout optimization guides.
  • Contribute market data and customer feedback to new product initiation activities.
  • Support customers through schematic reviews, PCB layout checks, and performance/thermal discussions.
  • Document and communicate product advantages across target applications (efficiency, thermal performance, etc.).

Requirements

Must-have:

  • Hands-on experience with PCB design software (for example, Altium or Cadence).
  • Practical experience using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, and digital multimeters.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to interview customers and present technical hardware concepts to external and internal audiences.
  • Professional proficiency in English (working language).

Nice-to-have:

  • Solid foundation in power electronics and hands-on hardware experience.
  • Preference for candidates located in Finland or Sweden.
