Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of the Systems Validation Lead Engineer include:
- Conducting pre-silicon validation using FPGA and emulation platforms.
- Performing post-silicon validation and debugging of system-level issues.
- Developing and executing validation tests, including directed tests and OS-based system tests.
- Collaborating with design and verification teams, software development teams, and system architecture teams.
- Running regression tests and automating these processes through scripting.
- Troubleshooting and creatively solving complex bugs in both pre and post-silicon stages.
Requirements
Candidates should meet the following qualifications:
- A degree in Computer or Electronics Engineering is preferred.
- A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in embedded systems software design.
- Proficient in programming languages such as C, C++, Python, and Perl.
- Familiarity with ARM architecture and systems integration.
