Systems Engineer - Supervisor (Santa Clara/Dallas)
Role Summary
Work as a systems/application engineer supporting product definition, system evaluation, customer engagements, and product ramp to release-to-manufacturing (RTM). The role interfaces with design, product, test, packaging, marketing and sales to drive design wins and revenue growth for TI analog/mixed-signal products.

Responsibilities
Typical responsibilities include supporting product strategy, customer-facing technical work, and cross-functional execution.
- Research and define new products; develop business cases and product strategies.
- Analyze end-equipment across automotive, industrial, consumer and computing markets to identify trends and opportunities.
- Evaluate silicon systems (hardware and software as needed) and produce related documentation.
- Support product ramp-up and be the technical expert for customers during integration and production ramp.
- Provide application support for new and existing products and troubleshoot customer issues via lab testing and schematic analysis.
- Train and support central applications engineering and sales teams on products.
- Create technical literature: datasheets, application notes, user guides, evaluation modules and models.
- Collaborate across functions to resolve customer problems and contribute to product roadmap and revenue plans.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience; preferred skills are listed separately.
- Approximately 2 years of relevant experience working with analog/mixed-signal ICs.
- Strong understanding of analog/mixed-signal ICs and their system-level application.
- Experience promoting ICs and driving design wins by providing system solutions to customers.
- Strong customer-facing skills and familiarity with lab equipment.
- System-level circuit modeling experience with EDA tools, SPICE and MATLAB.
Nice-to-have:
- Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to ramp quickly on new systems, take initiative and manage time to meet project deadlines.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required (Degree Level listed as Bachelor's Degree).
