Role Summary
Provide system-level solutions for robotics perception sensing and embedded Edge AI, producing reference designs, technical collateral, and system-level test data. Work with sales and business-unit partners to demonstrate TI products in customer applications and drive design wins.

Mid-level (approximately 5 years of relevant engineering experience).
Responsibilities
Accountabilities and typical tasks for this role include:
- Engage with customers to define system requirements and propose device, board, and software solutions for robotics perception and embedded Edge AI.
- Create reference designs, test data, and technical collateral to validate and communicate system solutions.
- Design and review system-level boards: schematics, layout, testing, and validation.
- Perform prototype board bring-up, lab testing, and debugging of hardware and firmware.
- Collaborate with sales, BU partners, and cross-functional teams to support demos, design wins, and product adoption.
- Produce clear, high-quality technical documentation for internal and customer use.
Requirements
Must-have skills and experience:
- Approximately 5 years of relevant engineering experience focused on system-level hardware and embedded solutions.
- Experience in system-level board design including schematics, PCB layout considerations, testing, and validation.
- Familiarity with lab equipment and test procedures for prototype validation.
- Ability to review customer schematics and PCB layouts for system integration.
- Strong software debugging skills and experience with firmware development for embedded systems.
- Experience with prototype board bring-up and troubleshooting.
- Ability to produce clear technical documentation and test artifacts.
- Strong understanding of analog and embedded-processing ICs and their applications.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience building full system proposals and promoting ICs to drive design wins.
- Experience with robotics development platforms or Edge AI toolchains (e.g., NVIDIA dev kits).
- Familiarity with schematic-capture simulation tools and part-selection using calculations and data.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, time-management, and customer-facing skills.
- Ability to analyze data from multiple sources and rapidly ramp on new systems.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, ECE, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field (listed as the required degree level in the posting).
