Systems Engineer - FPDLink
Role Summary
Work on system-level support and product definition for FPDLink/serializer-deserializer interfaces, focusing on automotive and industrial video and sensor applications. The role partners with design, applications, product, test, packaging, marketing and sales teams to define products, enable customer designs, and drive design wins.
Responsible for taking products to release-to-market (RTM), supporting product ramp, troubleshooting customer systems, and creating technical documentation. Base pay range: $155,000 - $240,500 per year.

Responsibilities
Core responsibilities include system evaluation, customer support, and product commercialization.
- Define product requirements and business cases; develop product strategies and take products to RTM.
- Analyze end-equipment (automotive, industrial, consumer, computing) to identify trends and system-level opportunities.
- Assess and negotiate IC development tradeoffs with design teams and customers.
- Own product ramp activities and provide application support for new and existing products.
- Support and train applications engineering and sales organizations on product use and integration.
- Drive design wins and revenue growth by providing system solutions and customer engagement.
- Troubleshoot customer application issues through lab testing, schematic analysis, and cross-functional coordination.
- Create technical literature such as datasheets, application notes, user guides, and models (e.g., IBIS).
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and practical experience; preferred items are listed separately.
