Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include validation, debugging, automation, and cross-team coordination to ensure product features are validated and optimized.

  • Develop tools, scripts, and automated solutions to improve validation and lab efficiency.
  • Debug issues across design, bring-up, validation, and production phases of SoC programs.
  • Plan, track, and execute test campaigns to validate features and meet delivery schedules.
  • Collaborate with firmware, hardware, silicon, and test teams to resolve cross-functional issues.
  • Use software/hardware modeling frameworks to support validation and analysis.
  • Lead technical initiatives and drive procedural and methodological improvements.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience; concise list of core expectations.

  • Proven experience in system-level or platform-level debugging and validation.
  • Proficiency with programming/scripting (examples: C/C++, Python, Perl, Ruby).
  • Experience using lab equipment: protocol/logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc.
  • Extensive board/platform-level debugging experience including delivery, sequencing, analysis, and optimization.
  • Strong understanding of system architecture, technical debug methodologies, and validation strategies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; attention to detail; self-starter who drives tasks to completion.
  • Effective collaborator across multiple teams and stakeholders.

Nice-to-have:

  • GFX and power-related validation or debug experience.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
