Systems and Solutions Engineer

Role Summary

Work on end-to-end system engineering for next-generation data center platforms within Intel's Data Center Group (DCG). The role integrates hardware, firmware, software, board, and silicon/SoC components to deliver validated, production-ready platform solutions.

Experience Level

Entry-level / College graduate. Suitable for candidates early in their careers (approximately 0–3 years of relevant experience).

Responsibilities

You will contribute to architecture, integration, validation and troubleshooting across the full platform stack.

• Define and influence system architecture and integration specifications for data center platforms.
• Plan and execute system integration, validation, and verification activities.
• Debug and perform root-cause analysis of complex system-level issues across hardware, firmware, and software layers.
• Deliver technical solutions through implementation, testing, documentation, and product readiness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (architects, hardware, firmware, software) to shape requirements and drive product decisions.

Requirements

Key technical skills and abilities required or strongly preferred.

• Must-have: Proficiency in C/C++ and Python for development and debugging.
• Must-have: Experience debugging complex issues across multiple software layers.
• Must-have: Familiarity with Linux environments, scripting, and command-line tools.
• Must-have: Basic understanding of computer architecture, operating systems, and low-level software concepts.
• Must-have: Strong teamwork and clear written and verbal English communication skills.
• Nice-to-have: Experience using generative AI and agent-based tools to improve engineering workflows (code review, test automation, documentation).

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree (BSc) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
