System Validation Engineer (系统验证工程师)

Role Summary

Senior validation engineer responsible for component-level validation, system debug, and resolving customer issues for DDR memory buffer products. The role partners with FAE, design, product engineering, and quality teams to validate silicon and prepare products for mass production.

Experience Level

Mid-level - typically 3+ years of experience in semiconductor validation, product engineering, applications engineering, or system-level debug.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities focus on validation, system bring-up/debug, and cross-functional issue resolution.

• Provide technical support to FAE and drive timely customer issue resolution.
• Debug failures on internal and customer systems; reproduce issues and identify root causes.
• Develop validation test plans, test cases, and debug methods for new products.
• Lead component-level validation and characterization for DDR memory buffer products.
• Analyze electrical, functional, and timing behavior using lab equipment and system test platforms.
• Collaborate with Design, Product Engineering, and Quality teams to resolve validation issues and ready products for production.

Requirements

Must-have skills and experience for successful performance in this role.

• 3+ years experience in semiconductor validation, product engineering, applications engineering, or system-level debug.
• Familiarity with x86 systems and platform-level bring-up/debug.
• Experience with high-speed interfaces or memory-related projects (examples: SerDes, PCIe, RCD, DRAM, DIMM, DDR memory subsystems).
• Hands-on experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, protocol analyzers, and other debug tools.
• Proven ability to debug issues at component, board, and system level.
• Strong written and verbal communication; experience working cross-functionally with FAE, design, and customers.

Education Requirements

MS or BS in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field.
