System Product Engineer

Role Summary

The System Product Engineer stabilizes hardware products from first build through ramp-up to high-volume production for NVIDIA Networking. The role leads debug infrastructure development, systematic failure analysis, yield improvement, and test robustness across the NPI lifecycle.

Work focuses on high-performance networking platforms used in data centers and HPC environments.

Experience Level

Mid-level — typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Lead product stabilization activities, debug hardware issues, and drive data-driven improvements to yield and test processes.

• Own end-to-end product stabilization from first article to production release.
• Develop and maintain hardware debug infrastructure, tools, and methodologies.
• Perform deep-dive failure analysis and root-cause investigations.
• Monitor, analyze, and improve yield performance during NPI.
• Improve test stability, coverage, and repeatability and reduce false failures.
• Collaborate with Mechanical NPI engineers, Test Development, R&D, and manufacturing partners.
• Apply data analysis techniques to identify systemic issues and optimization opportunities.

Requirements

Must-have

• 4+ years of relevant experience in product engineering, failure analysis/debug, or hardware/test design.
• Proven hands-on experience in hardware debugging and lab testing.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

Preferred

• Experience with test design, hardware lab equipment, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with data/yield analysis and tools such as JMP.
• Basic programming knowledge (C, Perl, Python) in a Linux environment.

Education Requirements

B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering.
