System Marketing Manager – Healthcare

Role Summary

The System Marketing Manager – Healthcare defines, positions, and executes go-to-market programs for silicon-based system solutions in the healthcare vertical. The role creates reference designs and proof-of-concepts to demonstrate NXP's value to OEM partners and carries global business responsibility for the healthcare segment.

Experience Level

Senior level — requires 7+ years of relevant experience in semiconductor system marketing, applications engineering, or product management with healthcare/medical device exposure.

Responsibilities

Work across product, engineering, and commercial teams to deliver reference designs, drive design wins, and manage the healthcare business segment.

  • Define system reference designs and PoC requirements for priority healthcare applications (patient monitoring, CGM, infusion pumps, POCUS, surgical robotics).
  • Translate clinical and OEM use cases into technical specifications across MCU/MPU, analog front-end, connectivity, security, and AI compute.
  • Lead cross-functional execution from concept to working demonstrator; prepare business cases, technical briefs, and executive readouts to secure investment.
  • Set success criteria, BOM cost targets, and product differentiation versus competitors.
  • Own healthcare segment revenue, design-win pipeline, SAM and forecast tracking; coordinate regional sales and FAE teams.
  • Develop technical content (white papers, benchmarking, playbooks) and represent strategy in customer engagements, trade shows, and analyst briefings.

Requirements

Must-have skills and experience for immediate success in this role.

  • 7+ years in semiconductor system marketing, applications engineering, or product management with direct healthcare/medical device exposure.
  • Proven track record taking reference designs from definition through customer-facing launch.
  • Strong knowledge of medical regulatory context (IEC 60601, FDA) and how it influences system architecture.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication for senior executives and OEM partners.
  • Availability for global travel and ability to coordinate across regional teams.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical field. MBA is a plus.
