System Engineer / Technical Product Manager (f/m/d)
Role Summary
Join the Technical Product Management team for the Sensor Signal Conditioner (SSC) product line in the Cross Sensing Division. The role drives technical product definition and system-level requirements from concept evaluation through the design phase, working with cross-functional teams and customers to shape product solutions.
Experience Level
Entry-level / Early Career - expects approximately 2+ years of professional experience in the semiconductor industry or related fields.
Responsibilities
The role focuses on translating customer and market needs into technical product specifications and supporting product development and NPI projects.
- Support technical product definition and development from concept evaluation to design phase.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to capture and implement customer requirements.
- Create, maintain, and update Customer Requirement Specifications (CRS) and system documentation across the product lifecycle.
- Gather, analyze, and translate customer and market requirements into clear technical specifications.
- Work directly with customers to identify pain points and develop customer-focused solutions.
- Develop system-level expertise to identify emerging application trends and evaluate future product opportunities.
- Contribute to innovation activities: proof-of-concept projects, literature and patent reviews, and technical conferences.
- Perform technical competitive analysis with Application Engineering and Product Marketing Management.
- Collaborate closely with Design Engineering during NPI projects to ensure effective product definition.
Requirements
Must-have skills and experience, plus a few desirable qualifications.
- Must-have: ~2+ years professional experience in the semiconductor industry or related fields.
- Must-have: Customer-focused, strong collaboration and communication skills; fluent English (written and verbal).
- Must-have: Understanding of sensor applications across industrial, automotive, medical, and consumer markets.
- Must-have: Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
- Nice-to-have: Experience with MEMS-based pressure sensing technologies.
- Nice-to-have: Demonstrated interest in semiconductor technologies and emerging market trends; experience with proof-of-concept or research collaborations.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field is required as stated in the posting.
