System Engineer, INT PD
Role Summary
The Systems Engineer will define and drive protection-device product requirements, support customers through product ramp and troubleshooting, and collaborate with design, product, test, packaging, marketing and sales teams to secure design wins.
Work focuses on system-level analysis, application support, and contributing to product strategy and roadmap for protection devices across automotive, industrial, consumer and computing markets.
Experience Level
Entry-level / Early Career — minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include product definition, customer engagement, and enabling product adoption.
- Research and define new products; develop business cases and product strategies and take products to release to market.
- Analyze customer end-equipment to identify trends and opportunities to improve performance or add value.
- Assess and negotiate IC development tradeoffs with design teams and customers.
- Act as technical lead for product ramp and provide application support for new and existing products.
- Support and train applications engineering and sales teams on products and system solutions.
- Drive new design wins through system-level solutions and customer engagement.
- Troubleshoot customer applications via lab testing, schematic analysis and cross-functional coordination.
- Create technical documentation (datasheets, application notes, user guides, EVMs, SPICE models, etc.).
- Contribute to revenue planning and short- and long-term product roadmap.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience; preferred attributes are listed separately.

Must-have: Minimum 2 years relevant experience; strong understanding of analog/mixed-signal ICs and their applications.
- Experience promoting ICs and driving design wins by providing system solutions.
- Strong customer-facing skills and familiarity with lab equipment.
- System-level circuit modeling experience with EDA tools, SPICE and MATLAB.

Nice-to-have: Strong verbal and written communication, ability to build relationships with stakeholders, fast learner on new systems/processes, strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, teamwork and initiative, and good time management.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
