System Engineer

Role Summary

Serve as the technical bridge between global customers, TI field teams and internal product-development groups for RGB LED driver and related analog/mixed-signal products. Lead system-level product definition, customer engagement and cross-functional execution from concept through product release.

Experience Level

Mid-level (3–5 years of relevant experience).

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities focus on customer-facing technical leadership, product definition and cross-functional coordination.

  • Engage proactively with global customers and field teams to gather system-level requirements and identify market opportunities.
  • Translate customer and market insights into differentiated IC concepts and product definitions balancing feasibility, cost and schedule.
  • Influence product roadmaps and prioritize opportunities with marketing and applications teams.
  • Lead technical alignment across design, test, validation, packaging and backend teams to close issues and accelerate execution.
  • Promote product portfolio to sales/field teams and support strategic customer design-ins to drive design wins.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation such as product specifications and datasheets.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience; preferred items listed separately.

  • 3–5 years experience in development or application of analog and mixed-signal ICs.
  • Hands-on experience with system evaluation, board-level debugging and common lab equipment (preferred).
  • Fundamental understanding of analog/mixed-signal technologies, digital control, communication interfaces and power design.
  • Working knowledge of the semiconductor product development lifecycle: product definition, IC design, test, validation, qualification and production ramp.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage customers, uncover needs, and resolve technical issues.
  • Experience promoting ICs and driving design wins by providing system solutions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in Mandarin and English.
  • Preferred: initiative, stakeholder relationship skills, rapid technical ramp-up, teamwork, analytic/problem-solving and time management.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. (Degree level listed in job info: Bachelor's Degree.)
