Experience Level

Senior level. The posting requests 15+ years of relevant product-definition and architecture experience.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include product definition, customer engagement, and cross-functional launch support.

  • Define innovative protocol-bridge and interface-aggregator product roadmap based on market and application trends.
  • Gather and translate customer/system requirements into product specifications and value propositions.
  • Perform competitive technical analysis and benchmarking.
  • Collaborate with design, test, applications, and marketing teams to develop and launch products on schedule.
  • Prepare technical documentation: specifications, datasheets, white papers, application notes, and demos.
  • Oversee development of reference circuits and demonstration boards.
  • Provide technical support for complex customer issues and assist field applications teams and key customers.
  • Engage with partners, OEMs, and standards bodies to influence architectures and standards.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience; nice-to-have items listed separately.

  • 15+ years of experience in new product definition and architecture specification.
  • Deep knowledge of interface specifications: USB2/eUSB2, I3C, I2C, UART, SPMI, SDIO, I2S, and real-time Ethernet (100M/1G).
  • Prior experience specifying and developing protocol-bridging, aggregation, or interface-expander solutions (MCU-based or hardware-FSM based).
  • Proven ability to translate customer requirements into product specs and to work directly with customers for design-ins.
  • Experience producing technical documentation and product demonstrations.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills; experience collaborating across engineering, marketing, and product teams.
  • Participation in standards or industry working groups is expected.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience with timestamping, security/encryption, IEEE1722 and IEEE1588 implementations.
  • Experience developing SystemC functional models and timing-accurate modeling.

Education Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Electrical/Electronics Engineering (BSEE) required; Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) is desirable.
