Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Own incoming direct materials technical readiness and ensure materials meet technical specifications, quality and reliability requirements.
- Support material evaluation, qualification and readiness for NPI and HVM; act as technical interface for material-related factory issues.
- Lead or support investigations and cross-functional actions to drive timely closure of technical issues and minimize production impact.
- Manage MRB/excursion activities, material disposition decisions and containment through data-driven analysis.
- Drive 8D problem solving, failure analysis, reliability validation and implement corrective/preventive actions.
- Support supplier qualification, validation, engineering change and materials change control processes.
- Support audits, maintain technical documentation and ensure audit readiness.
- Use tools such as SAP, JMP and Power BI to analyse material performance, track issues and support decisions.
