Role Summary
The role involves working with Qualcomm's Wi-Fi Physical Layer Firmware team, focusing on PHY-layer firmware design, verification, or validation. Interns will gain hands-on experience with advanced wireless communication systems and modern software development methodologies.

Internship - Currently pursuing a BS/MS in relevant engineering fields.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Contributing to the design and development of Wi-Fi PHY-layer firmware.
- Performing PHY-layer verification, test development, debugging, and optimization.
- Building verification methodologies, automation flows, and reusable test components.
- Supporting bring-up, validation, and analysis on various platforms.
- Utilizing AI-assisted development tools to enhance development efficiency.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams across firmware, algorithm, design, and validation.
Requirements
Must-have qualifications include:
- Currently pursuing a BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong programming skills in C and Python.
- Solid understanding of embedded systems and low-level software concepts.
- Effective communication skills in English.
- Basic familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools.
Nice-to-have qualifications include:
- Knowledge of IEEE 802.11 standards and wireless communication fundamentals.
- Understanding of networking protocols such as TCP/IP.
- Experience with silicon bring-up or hardware validation.
- Familiarity with modern AI technologies.
Education Requirements
Currently pursuing a BS/MS in a relevant engineering field is required.
