The Research Scientist Intern in Silicon Performance Architecture will work with the Reality Labs team, which aims to deliver Meta's vision through AI-first devices utilizing Mixed and Augmented Reality. Responsibilities

The intern will be responsible for:

  • Building APIs and custom wrappers to integrate performance modeling components.
  • Developing test suites to verify the functionality and performance of models.
  • Identifying optimization areas to enhance simulation infrastructure.
  • Conducting performance and power explorations of architectural components.

Requirements

Minimum qualifications include:

  • Current pursuit of a PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with C/C++ and Python programming.
  • Understanding of computer architecture, including NoC, DRAM, Cache, MMU.
  • Familiarity with performance modeling and architectural exploration.
  • Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment.
