Summer 2027 Long Term ASIC Verification Engineering Intern / Co-Op
Role Summary
Work on ASIC and Adaptive SoC IP verification for wired communication applications (e.g., MI Series accelerators and Versal SoCs). The role focuses on developing SystemVerilog/UVM verification environments and tests for configurable silicon targeted at data centers and communication networks.
Hybrid or onsite in Ottawa, ON. Full-time during the co-op/intern term (12- or 16-month options starting May 3, 2027).

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop SystemVerilog/UVM-based verification environments and IP components.
- Write tests, sequences, and testbench components to verify design functionality.
- Apply coverage-driven verification methodology with constrained-random stimulus.
- Review and contribute to verification plans and design specifications.
- Automate tasks and evaluate new tools and methodologies to improve processes.
- Investigate and root-cause issues found during IP development.
Requirements

- Must have: Understanding of digital design principles; familiarity with object-oriented coding practices; experience with SystemVerilog and UVM; experience programming in C or C++.
