Strategic Student Program β€” EBS Xpedition QA Intern (Fall 2026)

Role Summary

Join the Electronic Board Systems (EBS) Product Quality Assurance (PQA) team as a Software PQA Intern working on Siemens EDA applications. The role supports the software development lifecycle through testing, validation, and debugging within an Agile engineering team.

Hybrid position based in Huntsville, AL; internship begins Fall 2026 and follows the Strategic Student Program rotation schedule.

Experience Level

Entry-level internship for current university students (sophomore or junior level). Suitable for undergraduates or graduate students seeking practical software QA experience.

Responsibilities

The intern will contribute to software quality assurance and testing under mentor supervision. Key responsibilities include:

  • Participate in Agile development: testing, validation, debugging, and defect reporting.
  • Develop and execute test cases and verify software functionality.
  • Assist in reproducing, documenting, and resolving issues.
  • Collaborate with engineers to ensure compliance with design and implementation requirements.
  • Engage in continuous learning, mentorship, and team activities to improve product quality.

Requirements

Must-have eligibility and skills for successful participation:

  • Available to work full-time starting Fall 2026 and to rotate every other semester as required by the program.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid onsite model in Huntsville, AL.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a demonstrated interest in software development and quality assurance.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within an Agile team and accept mentorship from senior engineers.

Education Requirements

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science (sophomore-level or above). Minimum 3.0 GPA required; enrollment as an undergraduate or graduate student is required for program participation.
