Role Summary
As a Product Engineer in Micron’s Storage Technology and Products Group (STPG), lead the development, testing, and production of NAND memory products from early development through high-volume manufacturing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, cost-effective NAND products that meet performance and yield targets.
Primary focus areas include backend test strategy, product qualification, yield improvement, and test flow ownership.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include driving NAND backend test strategy, product qualification, and yield improvement.
- Define and implement backend test strategies for next-generation NAND products to meet quality and cost targets.
- Own the backend test flow and coordinate with Test Software Engineering (TSE) to review and sign off test program releases.
- Collaborate with design, system, yield, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve technical issues and support customer sample delivery and qualification.
- Perform yield monitoring, electrical failure analysis, root-cause identification, and test optimization to improve product yield.
- Model yield for new products to support cost analysis and execution decisions.
- Lead test time reduction and cost-reduction initiatives while maintaining customer quality requirements.
- Use in-house engineering equipment for product characterization, yield learning, and electrical failure analysis.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities to improve quality, cost, and cycle time in high-volume manufacturing.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience; preferred items noted when applicable.
- Experience in semiconductor product engineering, test engineering, yield engineering, or electrical failure analysis; memory/NAND experience is a strong plus.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing test flows, yield analysis, and test methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Ability to work effectively across functions and influence outcomes in a schedule-driven manufacturing environment.
- Growth mindset and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
