Work on verification methodology and infrastructure for complex SoC and processor IP within the Verification team of Arm's Software/Verification organization. The role focuses on defining and implementing verification flows, building reusable methodology components, and improving verification efficiency across projects.

The position involves collaborating with architects, design and verification teams, and tool engineers to deliver scalable, automated verification solutions.

Responsibilities

Deliver and maintain verification methodology, tools and flows to improve verification productivity and quality.

• Define, implement and maintain verification methodology and best practices (UVM-based flows, testbench architecture, verification IP).
• Develop and maintain automation, scripting, and infrastructure for test generation, execution and reporting.
• Drive coverage strategies, metrics and closure plans; implement functional coverage and assertions.
• Collaborate with architects, RTL designers, verification teams and tool vendors to integrate methodology into projects.
• Mentor and guide engineers on verification methodology and tooling; perform design and code reviews of verification environments.
• Evaluate and adopt verification technologies (emulation, formal, verification IP) where appropriate.

• Must-have: Strong experience in verification methodology development and deployment (UVM/SystemVerilog based environments).
• Must-have: Proficiency with SystemVerilog, UVM, functional coverage and assertions.
• Must-have: Experience with scripting and tool development (Python, Tcl or similar) to build automation and infrastructure.
• Must-have: Practical experience in SoC/processor/complex IP verification and debugging at block and system level.
• Nice-to-have: Experience with emulation, formal verification, virtualization or other advanced verification technologies.
• Nice-to-have: Experience defining team-level methodology, CI integration, or verification toolchain integration.
