Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include:

• Define and implement test strategies and detailed test plans for silicon, SoC, and system validation.
• Lead hardware bring-up, lab validation, and debugging of complex HW/SW interactions.
• Develop and maintain test automation, infrastructure, and testbenches.
• Collaborate with design, verification, firmware, and product teams to reproduce, triage, and resolve issues.
• Analyze test data, produce clear reports, and provide go/no-go recommendations for releases.
• Mentor and review work from junior engineers; contribute to process and tooling improvements.

Requirements

Must-have

• Proven experience in silicon/SoC test, hardware bring-up, or validation in a production environment.
• Hands-on experience with lab equipment and debug tools (e.g., oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, JTAG/boundary-scan workflows).
• Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, shell, TCL) for test development and data analysis.
• Ability to debug complex hardware/software interactions and drive cross-team resolution.
• Clear technical communication skills and experience documenting test results and recommendations.

Nice-to-have

• Familiarity with Arm architectures, ecosystem, or processor validation workflows.
• Experience with CI systems, large-scale test labs, or automated test equipment (ATE).
• Experience with performance, power, or reliability characterization tests.
