Role Summary

The Staff Test Engineer will leverage extensive experience in Automated Test Systems (ATE) to develop and troubleshoot complex issues related to integrated circuit testing. The role requires in-depth evaluation of data and methodologies for new assignments, ensuring the achievement of departmental objectives.

Experience Level

Senior level, requiring 6+ years of experience in relevant fields.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Develop and resolve complex issues related to ATE testing.
• Conduct hands-on ATE test development for analog, digital, and mixed signal.
• Program in languages such as C++, Perl, and Python.
• Utilize testing tools like oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers for IC testing.
• Debug analog products, including those with serial bus interfaces.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide project support.
• Travel as required (0-10%).

Requirements

Essential qualifications include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
• 6+ years of direct experience with Automated Test Systems, preferably Microflex & Advantest 93K.
• Extensive proficiency in ATE test development and debugging.
• Strong programming skills in C++, Perl, and Python.
• Ability to evaluate complex data and develop effective solutions.

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science is required.
