Responsibilities
Provide systems-level test leadership and hands-on execution to ensure product quality and compliance with automotive processes.
- Analyse requirements, specifications and implementations to design system verification strategies and test plans.
- Develop, implement and run automated test cases for hardware and embedded software validation.
- Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and maintain regression suites.
- Collaborate closely with hardware, firmware, system architecture, applications and quality teams during verification cycles.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues uncovered during system testing and drive defect resolution.
- Maintain test frameworks, measurement setups and automated validation infrastructure (hardware-in-the-loop, bench automation).
- Support verification activities required for ASPICE-compliant processes and automotive product releases.
- Travel as required for validation and customer support (approximately 10%).
Requirements

Must have: Systems engineering or formal testing experience for complex systems (ideally automotive).
- Experience in system development or system test within an ASPICE model.
- Embedded C/C++ and Python or other scripting languages for test automation.
- Hands-on hardware and software troubleshooting and automated hardware validation experience.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (for example Jenkins or GitLab) and software revision control (Git, GitHub).
- Experience using test tools and test frameworks; familiarity with regression testing.
- Strong communication, documentation and teamwork skills; proactive and hands-on mindset.

Nice to have: OTA update/security testing, secure bootloaders, firmware signing; automated software/system verification background; wireless/RF experience; requirements management tools (JAMA, DOORS); functional safety verification; ISTQB Foundation Level.
Education Requirements
Minimum BSc or BEng in Electronic or Computer Engineering; MSEE or MSCE listed as acceptable advanced degrees. ISTQB Foundation Level cited as an optional certification.
