Staff Silicon Design Engineer
Role Summary
Member of the NBIO team responsible for developing and operating emulation platforms to validate system and subsystem designs and enable first-pass silicon delivery. Works closely with architecture, IP design, verification, post-silicon, and firmware teams to ensure functional and performance goals are met.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Architect and implement scalable emulation test benches and build flows.
- Develop tools and flows to improve emulation project execution and efficiency.
- Implement synthesizable models in SystemVerilog for emulation and prototyping.
- Define and execute comprehensive emulation test plans covering functional and performance testing.
- Lead debug and root-cause analysis in collaboration with designers and verification engineers.
- Integrate and bring up third-party accelerated verification IPs.
- Collaborate with IP design and verification teams on test planning and task execution.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of emulation methodologies.
Requirements
Must-have and preferred technical skills:

Must-have: Verilog/SystemVerilog RTL design and synthesizable model implementation.

Must-have: Experience with emulation or prototyping workflows and RTL verification.

Must-have: FPGA flows, synthesis, and place-and-route familiarity.

Preferred: C/C++ and embedded firmware experience.

Education Requirements
PhD, MSc or BSc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
